After YEARS of searching for answers, I’ve found a website that tries really, really hard to make every student successful!

First off, I AM NOT GETTING PAID TO SAY THIS! Nope – not one single penny. I don’t know anyone who works there, and it is not based in my hometown. I have NO AFFILIATION with Xtramath.org at all.

Now that we have that out of the way, I can tell you about some of the features that I really appreciate as a teacher and parent.

Xtramath is a math fluency program that helps students master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts.

As the Xtramath overview states, “These facts are the building blocks of a child’s education and are absolutely essential for success with fractions, decimals, multi-digit algorithms, and higher-level math. Recalling basic facts quickly and easily frees up mental resources for more complex problem-solving.”

Very well said!

The best part – this wonderful program is ABSOLUTELY FREE! Apps are available for a small fee, and tax-deductible donations are appreciated.

I love the fact that I can set up individualized programs for my students. Currently, I have all of my students set up to practice multiplication facts only. I have a few that are very close to completing all of the multiplication facts, and they will move on to a mixture of multiplication and division.

Xtramath is very easy to set up for teachers and parents. Reports on individual students are available to track student progress. Wonderful for IEPs and parent conferences!

Let me know how you like it – I KNOW that you will!

Take Care!
